Ive bought one of these off ebay : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-2GB-MP4-MP3-F ... dZViewItem

it seems alright but ive got a question. Where is the headphone socket on a proper nano? on this one its on the side.

The reason i want to know is i bought a small case for ipod nano's bu there isnt a hole in the side of it. How the hell do people plug their headphones in? make a small hole themselves?

this is the case i ordered: http://www.essentialipod.co.uk/product. ... 8ff5f69fb6

its a fabric case so making a small hole wouldnt be hard.

I don't have one but I've seen them before when people have shown me and I remember the headphone jack being on the bottom of the nano. I assume that that was for a UK iPod but I can't be sure. Your one appears to have come from Hong Kong and perhaps they just put the jack on the sides?

thanks googles :)

goggles? googles :P

no idea how that case is meant to work with an ipod nano then as it doesnt have a hole at the bottom either. well not once the ipod is 'tucked away' anyway.
