Imperial Guard Surrenders to the Red Army
There is a N.American saying along the lines of;
“It ain’t over until the fat lady sings”.
Well yesterday by approximately midnight GMT our fat lady was belting out Wagners ‘Der Ring Des Nibelungen’ full throttle with a back up five-part gospel choir providing a cappella to boot.
So it was done. On behalf of His Majesties Imperial Guard I offered my sword to General Madcow of the Red Army. He graciously accepted our surrender and I offered him our congratulations.
I wish to offer this to his army:
Well done guys you beat us fair and square.
To our guys:
Thank you gentlemen. You put up a valiant effort right to the end and I was proud to serve with you.
To the TA’s:
Thank you for all the presence and energy you brought to your role.
Till next time folks!!!!!!! Watch this space.

It was a fun campaign, but too short, however some of those battles were really intense.
I like to thank all those of the Imperial Guard who showed up and fought your guts out. It must have been difficult to deal with the issues that arose and the shortage of soldiers but you can be proud of yourselves for doing your best under difficult circumstances. Keep your chins up, the next campaign is just around the corner.
I'd also like to thank both armies, both HC's and the TA's for dealing with the problems and the issues as well as you did. You all did your best to keep it fair and to keep the community first.

"The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultraviolence."
Noo it was too long!SSnake_Plissken wrote:It was a fun campaign, but too short,...
I had fun playing this campaign, too bad i wasnt able to play with you Snake and the rest of the reds more often.
Now lets make the next campaign the best one ever. Everyone can post info about interesting custom maps or mods here:

yours, and everyone else's, for that matter. I still think that with major recruiting (and i mean like 60 people) we'll be able to have 32vs32 BF2 battles again, but you might want to consider the factors that drove the people off, and then reflect upon the stuff you have, you don't have and you want to have.matsif wrote:yea, but this campaign has been the worst on my attendance ever.
By then, it will be time to start fresh, and produce a great campaign, just like C8 was. At least, on attendance levels.
Morph
Congrats to both sides...but in the spirit of honesty, I'll let the following link express my feelings regarding C9. Thank You.
