Most of the hard information is being kept under wraps for the cover story, but here's some declassified intel for you: Several standout features that defined Battlefield 2 return to the fold, including 64-player multiplayer on PC, jets, and the ability to go prone.
The game will be revealed at GDC at the beginning of March so not long to wait now.

Its hard for me to get excited about playing the next EA game. I finally got BFBC2: Vietnam. Good game overall.
Just sucks dealing with the hackers and the hiding of the lag.
I see BF3 being no different. I'll wait for the bargain bin.

after watching this I'm afraid my laptop won't be able to handle it. and the governor is cutting state funding for college students, so I definitely won't have the cash to build a new pc without some crazy scholarships coming my way.

You will have all summer to get a rig put together. I am guessing a pc of the required specs could be had (in parts) for less than $300. I might just rebuild mine as well.
