Who gets a beta key? Except the poor ones who bought MoH?
I just pre-ordered BF3 and I hope that I'll finish my exam (first part of my state examination(dunno if this is the right expression )) before November. If so, I can spend a lot of time playing BF3 without any feelings of guilt.

Open beta is for everyone. I'm not sure what benefits the MoH people get.. maybe earlier access?

I really like what I see. I still get pissed at EA and DICE with the current hackers and EA standards saying "Sorry we sorta kinda banned you, here, buy another key for $5 and we'll wait another 30+ days before we ban you for the x time..."

. But it seems in BFBC2:V it actually feels rare. Very few players seem to instantly kill me and everyone else on my team under 1 second instantly these days. Got it back in April and have a better experience than I did with the beta vanilla. I waited almost a year to get the game because the hackers were so blatant in beta.
PS. COD was worse for hackers. Especially the teleport hack. One day beta and never bought it.

gosh - can you imagine us sitting in our wheelchairs - with our teeth secured away in some glass sitting on the table near the computer - trying to figure out where the enemy is on that stupid 3D-Holoscreen, with our own l33t-GC server, that automatically adds a (250 -(your age * 2,5)) to the players Ping to give us a little chance to keep up with these young buggers.

Phew...fortunately I pre-ordered the Limited Edition. Don't need any more stir in my life right now.

Somehow I like sushi's idea of playing in the distant/near future...
