DONATION STUFF

Post by BRUMMIE »

Thanks to all that donate, have donated or are thinking of donating. I like to see that anyone that donates gets some recognition but I need to determine who is who as donations usually come in with personal names not GC Nics. I can't always match them up. Soooo could you please put your forum name in the notes section or PM me either or. Thanks.

Thanks for the FYI, Brummie!

Donators deserve to get recognition for their time and effort. It's because of the generous actions of those who give that keep this wonderful community going!

I've seen sites that have a side bar scrolling list of people who donated in the last 90 days and how much.

ash i think the rolling names is a good idea... just dont put how much because then its subconsciously turning it from a recognition to a competition and not everyone can afford the same amount as the next person. just my .2 cents

Instead of a donators list, how about a voteable members list? With an explaination of how to become a votable and what privilages they get.
[sig]Broken due to link being older than I am (in internet years at least) and laziness[/sig]

Don't think votables group is running right now.

Those who donate automatically become vote-able. This info must be in one of Brummie's welcome posts.

I don't believe it is, but the concept probably needs to be rolled out again, or at least thought through and adapted, as there seems to be some impetus to do just that. What I can/will do is put up an updated list of donor's although this thread Donation Receipts and Running Costs clearly shows who is who.
