I'll probably buy 'em all. Just so I know I can join any server and not get booted of at map change.
I don't really blame DICE for making an infantry centric map-pack. There's a number of motivations going on here.
1.) console crowd: their biggest market, these maps will suit all the people that have a 24 person (LOL) server limit. Yes, admittedly, offering a slick, fast paced, infantry based gameplay package might attract some of the COD players who realize they just bought the exact same game for the third time in MW3.
2.) historically, infantry centric maps have always been the most popular. As BF2 ended to the end of its lifecyle the majority of popular servers became Karkand only high points servers.
I dunno, I enjoy infantry combat so I'll probably like this. I loved special forces for BF2 - even if you did have to CHANGE THE FREAKING CD IN YOUR DISK DRIVE AND BOOT IT SEPERATELY HOLY crap DICE WTF WAS UP WITH THAT.
My only concern is all these DLCs end up dividing the playerbase and make it tougher to find a server you want to play in.
Obviously this is shameless cash grab/EA is despicable/Gaben for prez 2012 etc etc...
I find my acceptance somewhat shameful but I love this game.
