Is this even a bug? It's always made sense to me. It makes there be a risk to sprinting.
->When youre playing inf, sprinting means you cant shoot, and are therefore likely to lose a 1v1 close quarters gunfight.
->When flying sprinting makes your turn rate much worse.
->When tanking it makes you take more damage if you get shot.
Seems fairly ballanced to me, might be completely wrong though.

i thought those belong to the dark history of the game industry, but apparently i was wrong....

how come that when you crash ruble on someone, it awards YOU the kill, but when shooting a deliberately designed and placed gas tank it doesn't award you the multikill?

not to mention the wall breaking medpack, the incredible EOD bot physics or people shooting while in reloading animation.
will they fix the airplane weird bashing sounds when making hard turns? or the awkward stuff that happen when you hit a fallen tree? and thats just what i ran in today.

@elchino7: i would nerf the helicopters pilot guided rockets a bit. semi-active guidance systems at the expense of warhead explosives.
- nothing regarding the no weapon bug? 8O

@danimall
- when sprinting in a jeep/LAV/MTRAC/jet you get worse turn rates. when sprinting in a tank you Also get worse turn rates. and as far as i know that bug only occurs on the US Abrams tank, or is it just way more common for me on the Abrams? if its not a bug, why is it taking the rear reactive off? and even a direct rear hit makes max 50%-55% damage, a sprint-bug hit can give you even a 74% damage.

edit: btw, C-RAM stands for Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar. it main objective is to shoot down incoming projectiles. as you can't shoot down any type of projectiles in BF3 they should at least change the name.

I'd like them to change the various AA measures to more of a point defence role. Reducing range, but maybe buffing damage (although i don't think that would be even necessary). And the moment it's just "Hey. Let's sit on A and kill choppers". But that obviously won't happen. :roll:

Apart from that, the only things I'd like changed/fixed are TV bugs and the lightly armored vehicles killing MBTs.

Make the air vehicles run on wheels so they can't escape AA missiles as easily.

Added a rotor for the mobile AA so it can fly.

I'm pretty sure It happens for both tanks, but I think most people experience it more often with the Abrams. Apparently Dice is aware of this and doesn't consider it a bug or glitch, which I think is absolutely stupid. Why should a tank's rear reactive get knocked off when the front of a tank is shot? It makes zero physical sense, and in terms of balancing out sprinting, I think the lack of maneuverability is enough of a punishment for sprinting.

Another thing I would love to see fixed is the balance between IFVs and tanks. In the open, an IFV dominates a tank thanks to the hard-hitting AP shells and nearly continuous rate of fire possible. An easy fix would be to put the main cannon shells and AP shells on the same reload timer like they did with guided/cannister shells on the MBT.

TVs still blow up choppers when fired. It would be cool to see that fixed.

The only other balance thing I'd kind of like to see is an increase in the stall speed of fighter jets. In their current state, they are capable of flying and handling well at (IMO) too slow of a speed, making it too easy for mediocre pilots to take out choppers in one pass and dominate ground targets.

For all I care they should make MBTs knock out LAVs in one hit, while LAV shells bounce off MBTs :roll:

@dan1mall
It´s not a matter of taking more damage, the thing is due to a latency/bug the game register the hit opposite to the position you are facing.

@Darkrider312
I mean agaisnt stingers :B

@Necromancer
That´s mostly a GC/Custom glitch.

Like in Company of heroes :mrgreen:

Regarding the MAA, more damage at close range, WAY less range n damage from far away. AND balance the LAV-AD with the Tunguska.

Why not a "BF2 1.4 patch", we all remember what happened with the game in that patch and it took too long for DICE to get out the 1.41 that fixed the "bug".

Well the "1.4 patch" has happened pretty much every time they released a patch, DLC or new game on Origin:

origin crashes --> EA looking into the problem for 12-24 hours --> still can't find the problem --> found the problem and start fixing it --> 36 hours later it's up an running again. ;)

I just remember the Black Hawk in BF2, in the beginning it was amazing, in the end you could disable it down by throwing a rock at it and you could try to shoot an enemy with the minigun on a distance of two meters and still miss.
