Kilo, are you using some color filter when rendering? The colors seem very saturated on my screen. Or maybe it's my screen?
Free-to-play based on teamplay and tactics.

I agree that's not an issue. My battleday round recordings come out between 5 and 12 gigs; never had a problem with filesize limit with Shadowplay.Nix wrote:waaat?shadowplays 4GB filelimit
I don't have any limit on my recordings.

I'm using shadow record and my harddrive is formatted as ntfscancel_man wrote:I agree that's not an issue. My battleday round recordings come out between 5 and 12 gigs; never had a problem with filesize limit with Shadowplay.Nix wrote:waaat?shadowplays 4GB filelimit

Jager are you using Shadow Mode (hitting the record button after the round ends, Alt+F10) instead of manual record mode (Alt+F9)? The common practice is to use manual record (start recording when the round starts, end recording when it finishes) and only use Shadow to capture small (1-2 minute) highlights during your manual record. Manual record mode has no limit, Shadow mode is limited to last 20 minutes of play (file size depends on record quality). Shadow mode can be used while manual recording.
The only thing I can imagine imposing a file size limit is your hard drive's file system; if your HDD is formatted Fat32 then every file is limited to <4GB.
Well I'm glad to hear that it's just a windows 7 limitation since windows 10 is coming out next week anyway and it's a free upgrade anyway.RazY70 wrote:Apparently ShadowPlay's file size limit is a Windows 7 limitation.

...wow. I had no idea. I guess I've never done long Shadowplay records on my Win7 laptop. I have done plenty of h.264 recordings in Win7 with other capture cards, though, and never run into a file size limit- according to one post it's a limit of using Windows' built in muxer. That's amazing.RazY70 wrote:Apparently ShadowPlay's file size limit is a Windows 7 limitation.

Kind of, by automatically generating split files as far as I understood.cancel_man wrote:the linked post wrote:They are planning to remove the limitation though.
