Results from the Votables

The votables voted last week to include POE2 for the upcoming campaign. The 2nd vote ended today and we will be playing POE2 together with Vanilla and Special Forces (nothing new so far). We'll also play with personal unlocks.

"I want to play Poe2 with... Vanilla and Special Forces (with personal unlocks) " got 13 out of 24 votes.

If we play with personal unlocks does that mean we'll play on a ranked server? That's good news to my ears since i pretty much only play BF2 in GC now.

Nopes. Servers will remain unranked as it's impossible to password protect ranked servers and EA not releasing ranked server binaries to the public.
just call me phil on ts, ingame, wherever. i'll even respond to phil in real life. wooohooo!

Gee :roll: I wonder what the ranks (aka unlocks) of those 13 people is... and of course you either get all your unlocks at 180,000 points or you can buy (BF2:SF retail $19.99US) half of your unlocks so you own them all at 50,000 point.

Next time you kill the rich guy that eats, sleeps and showers with his BF2 make sure to pick up his kit. It surely will be some nifty unlock you don't have.

Or will picking up an unearned kit be against fairness rules?

ohhhh.... gc was special because u could pick up ak everytime u killed a mec or china soldier... now its gonna be only those g shitz! thats not a bf2 gun... pffff...

Nobody is forced to use the unlocks and i am pretty sure a lot players will stick with the AK. We'll see how it works for us. I am confident that it will add fun to the game for most of our players.

Either army could lead a training session on any ranked server and get 1-2 unlocks for their virgin players very quick. Medic and AT kits need the upgrade. The other kits arent as horrible to start with.
