If an officer is picked in the officer's draft then his group does not automatically go with him to the same army. Last campaign philippx was a member of a group and also in the Officer's draft. When he was drafted in the Officer draft it meant that he was no longer a part of the group. The same applies this campaign.

I think it is best to choose only one of the two (just what you did, yay!)

If you want to be in a group, try and avoid asking for an Officer's position as well. It creates a bit of a weird position for an Army who is drafting if they have an officer who is also part of the group. That make sense? hmm.. how to say it better..

Imagine if you, as HC/General, choose an officer who happens to be leader of a group. Then, when it's time for the group draft, there is a certain feeling of obligation to draft that group associated with the officer -- EVEN if the officer says it's no big deal, you still feel like it would be the appropriate (sportsmany?) thing to do.

So there's no official rule saying that you can't enter into both drafts.. but personally I think it leads to better draft results if you just join as one or the other, know what I mean? :)

To make things easy, just made the rule

You cannot be part of a group, if you sign up for the officer draft

I nave never heard of HC being chosen in the Officer draft so as far as I know the Generals will be choosing their HCs before hand.

The thought would be to have 3 vets and one new person in the HC. This is so that the new HC person can get some training on what it is to be an HC. Not a rule but something I think needs to be done.
