Erm, I've been fog hacking 1942 since I joined GC, my game has always looked that good :S.

Hmmmm only the first 2 patches allowed me to change the fog distance in a config file. But I'd have to say, I really dont see much difference between textures of the comparison shots except for the fog being removed. But maybe its one of those in game experiences.

I may be speaking out of my butt again because I haven't tried this mod, but as I remember it the fog was there for a good reason. Since 42 I haven't had any great desire to fly in this series. Half or more of the fun was not knowing where the other air was - it added a whole other aspect that has been missing since.
