Global Conflict

Hi Everyone,

Yes, infomation has been a little slow in coming forwards, but that's due to various reasons.

As you know Christmas is coming up fast and we know that attendences will be strained for obvious reasons, but to show that we are moving forward, the following schedule is planned for C10:

<s> December 15th --> Group + Individual Draft :jump: </s> - COMPLETED

<s> Campaign Map</s> - COMPLETED

<s> Sat 29 Dec 07 --> Territory Selection & Map Placements</s> - COMPLETED

<s> Tuesday 8 Jan 08 - Map Testing (Maps are due to be uploaded very soon) - </S>

Mod 14 Jan 08 @ 21:00 GMT - -> Divisons Placements

The time between Draft and Scrim will be used for Map testing some new mods. Generating the Map Packs etc. Watch the forums for these dates.
<s> January 5th --> First scrim (Fun Battle) between the armies :fighting3:</s> - FINISHED

The result was: Galactic Empire won 6-3. Due to time, the last round was not played.

Licking of wounds, and getting ready to regroup and start the first of the inter-galactic battles...
<s> January 12th --> Battle for Initiative :fighting40: </S> - FINISHED

Result: Imperials 332 / Rebels 414. The BFI goes to the IMPERIALS with the least point against them.

* All the dates shown above are of course tenative and can be changed if needs arise, so keep watching for changes.

It is a quote out of the biggest blockbuster all times.

In the Matrix part 1,

The scene Cypher sells out his friends, He is sitting in the restaurant eating a big fat steak, while he makes a deal with the agents;
If he betray his friends, he will return to the matrix as a president.
Then he says: " Ignorance is a blessing" (Cause RL outside the matrix sucks)

Meaning, sometimes your better off not knowing.
Did not mean anything by it.

Maybe the HCs can decide a date/do the map and territory picks after or before the group and individual drafts?

"Ignorance is bliss".....a common American saying, closely related to what Stonie means I think. It is not considered offensive or derogatory in the context Stonie implied.

Yeah the campaign map and so on will be up before xmas, and then we can relax for a few days then get hard back into it.

Sorry for my delay in getting back to you all but the internet is now working and can devote alot off time to make this camp 10 one for the history books. Angel add me as xfire and let me know when your free, goes to the Generals as well.
