BF2BC server question

Post by Book »

If I go 11-0 (not 2-6, 3-8, 2-4 like my squadmates), spend my time firing a grenade launcher at the rush building to collapse it on the box (which I did), as well as grenading the enemy so their efforts to pin us at a corner were thwarted, and being a closer spawn point for my squad than the parachuting option, why would I get booted for not helping the team? Is it required that I run into enemy fire over and over again to 'help' the team? Just looking for a little guidance. :o

Oh well server house rules are one of the 2 big mysteries left to mankind (the other is women).

Some Admins see red when the whole team is camping, so it could be the Admin did not really understand what you did. Or he simply needed a slot for a buddy to come in.

I would say do not worry about it and simply find another "favorite" server.

Its always best to try to determine who the admin is which is easy to do by just asking "Admin?" and then switch to his side. If you're good on his side then he won't kick you for sure. If you are violating rules he will kindly remind you. Its good if you revive him from time to time or tap him on his shoulders and smile.

Yah, some servers have loose cannon admins. Kill them in a vehicle, they 'admin kill',side switch, or kick you and their side takes the empty vehicle. Really sucks on Rush. As said, best thing to do is join their squad and you wont ruin their fun and they wont ruin yours.

Fair enough...
I didn't see who the admin was...but there are usually quite a few GC guys on...next time I'll check. (and run into fire like a school girl trying to get her first peep at a weiner  )

Just to be clear on this: we do not run a GC-BC2-server atm, so it was not a GC-Admin kicking you.

Could be some =GC= people playing on a pub server. As Sushi says, we dont have a BFBC2 server.

There is a small group/clan in Europe that has used a GC tag, dont know how to contact them.
