Global Conflict

I was kinda busy at the time when this was info was released (2 days ago) so I'm posting it now.
Whoever preordered from Origin will be able to pre-load and Amazon also says they will also have it.

This is good news as their servers will probably stay up this time as not everybody will be downloading at the same time.

pre-load October 21st
release October 25th, 28th in Europe

Is it worth getting it through Origin for this or just get it at the store?

Not worth it IMO. You can get extra bonus stuff and a cheaper price through stores. I know GAME in the UK is doing a midnight launch as well, so I get mine immediately.

Origin - compared to steam totally sucks! nothing can be set to install itself automatically. It feels like not being state of the art-programming but a lame try to get something to work. Pathetic really, I want my steam back. do get it via a store.

Everyone has to use Origin whether they buy it directly from EA or from a brick and mortar shop.

omg, what should I do know? If I preorder from Origin, you ppl say it sucks and you get some strange pegi version, but you get it immediately - and if I wait for it to get in stores in Croatia, I might be waiting for a month or two after the realease to arrive and it will be more expensive than it is now on origin.........

No matter what, to play online, you will have to login and run Origin.
As far as I can tell, I have no excitement for any of the pre-order stuff other than "early" maps.

In the US, the Origin preorder is the route to go. Get the bonus weapons, Karkand, and don't have to go get it. Since you have to have Origin to play it anyway...

I think its the best solution for everyone who can be delivered by them (at least in europe).
although i live in Hamburg germany the y deliver in 2 days usually.. and its for ltd Ed. 2/3 of the price of regular edition - shipping included.
Most of all its not that PEGI children version...

Just for your info:

"USK Version" --> German Version
"PEGI Version" --> Import Version (usually england)

Both Versions are the same. Just a different Label on the cover.

If you pre-order it through Origin, won't you be able to play on the American servers when they come up then?
