3D spotting this campaign - yay or nay?

Post by madcow »

Due to a number of people requesting that 3D spotting is turned on for the forthcoming campaign we have decided to put the matter to a vote. This poll will last for 6 days and the result will be applied to the server settings for the entirety of Campaign 2, starting with the BFI next Saturday.

For those unsure what this means, 3D spotting is where you are able to see spotted enemies not just on your minimap but also in the game world. Red triangles show up above the heads of enemies if they are infantry otherwise the vehicle that they are in will be displayed instead. With 3D spotting turned off only the minimap locations of spotted enemies will be visible.

Is it locked to not let you vote more than once as I am sure I have but yet have the option to again??

Unless I was hammered and forgot to commit my vote but sure I had? :?

I think the deal is you can't vote twice, but you can change your mind infinitely.

What happens if, at the end, it is a tie?

Yeah, but that is due at the end of the year, so we should be able to run C2 undisturbed.
