nice guys, but maybe you can place something behind the article. It's not so easy to read it like this.

I'm assuming this is done on Photoshop? If so, make the text white (or slightly off white, #eeeeee perhaps) then apply a drop shadow, set the distance to 0 and the colour to #666666. That will make the text readable without the effects being too noticeable.
