Has anyone seen an answer to the question how the AC-130 works? I really hope it's a controllable vehicle and not just some object on rails.

It's on rails. 2 gunner positions and the possibility of parachuting out of it.

Actually, in the stream they mentioned 4 gunner seats with 2 AA and 2 Air to ground gunners. It can also be used as a mobile spawn for parachuting into the battlefield, but it is on-rails and runs a cyclical path around the upper airspace.

I think that it's only positive with having it on rails. People would just fly around with it waaaay too low and it would be really OP. Sure, they could manage to balance it so it would be really hard to fly on low altitude (with the new AA vehicle) for example.
One thing's for sure though, this will be awesome on battledays!

from my understanding, the ac130 uses similar ideas to the paradrop plane in bf42's secret weapons expansion on the night time lab map and possibly others, thats the only one I remember, except it has guns.
