Global Conflict

I've been getting horrible lag spikes between fractions of a second to a few seconds tonight, making the game unplayable. I thought it might be my PC, but other players have confirmed for me that it's something to do with EA servers and not the game.

Please bump if you have similar issues. I'm curious if this is indeed the case.

EDIT: Apperently it's only on punkbuster protected servers (Oh joy...).

Yep. We are all having it. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

I'm actually relieved to read this. I was rubberbanding horribly last night and I thought my internet connection was solely to blame.

Havent had a chance to play in awhile. I'll throw out there to try manually updating PB. Its had a history of this symptom.

I was wondering what was going on last night. My overclock...my videocard...etc etc... Good to know it was neither.

Hmmm, I had severe FPS issues in another game last night. Had to completely power down and it magically disappeared upon restart. Could be coincidence.

No lags anymore. Looks like its fixed!
