Most of it isn't textured but it looks a lot like bf3.
It's on xbox with the the same 4 kits.

I see 5man squads there.

I'm a bit skeptical about this, while the UI and game menus looks fairly polished, if a little basic, all the in-game shots look actually worse than the BF3 alpha. This is probably a pre-alpha build, certainly not what I expect DICE to be revealing tomorrow.

Yeah, tbh this is going to be BF3.5 IMO. Tweaks here and there. Nothing revolutionary.

I saw something about battlepacks... They're not going to turn this thing into BF3 with a bunch of minitransactions, are they?

From the info I got you don´t unlock attachments, camos etc by simply ranking up or geting x amount of kills. Instead you receive those battlepacks which might include something you actually want, but they can also contain pure garbage. Like a 6x for a shottie.

I looked at the screenshots again there is something i noticed. The squad perks are now in a set (offensive, defensive(?), support(?)). Ingame it shows the set with a bar below it. My guess would be that this bar fills while supporting your squad (revives, resupplies etc.) which will unlck the perks.

BF3 also started with dynamic squads. joining on your friends could stretch the squad up to 6 members.
if they don't think 4 is a good number, why haven't they changed it in BF3?

Definitely promotes teamwork, I just hope it doesn't come down to "Hey, teamkill me and then rez 5 times." And hopefully there's an option to avoid that when we have our GC campaigns.

Slightly different HUD design
Slightly different models for things
Changing knife is possible?!
5 man squad. This may be important as 32/5 gives a remainder. Will we have 70 players max? (35v35)
Mass effect 3 style unlock packs. (I think)

There you have it. Make some new models and maps and change the HUD (slightly) & you've got a new game! Wait, what does that make DLC?
