Fun Day - Saturday 24.5 - Updated: Death Race course!

We will have a fun day on the EU server this saturday, starting at SBT.
Plans are subject to change based on comments and original ideas.
So far the plans are:

- Death race
- RHIB Boat TDM/Free for all
- Rush/Obliteration/Carrier Assault/CTF GC style.

And on the part of silly stuff that you always wanted to do:
- build a tower of players.

Please sign up in ABC if you intend to show up so we can get an idea of numbers.

How about we try a round of Carrier Assault? I wanna see if it works for us if we don't airdrop on the enemy ship, or if all the other built-in imbalances are still to big to overcome.

I too would like to give this a go. The lame paradrop is basically the only thing that makes me want to avoid CA like the plague.

I agree about the carrier assault thing, it would be a great thing to play in GC.

I'd also love to play Hanian Resort rush, its one of the best rush maps in my opinion.

Get transport chopper to kill all those people parachuting. Until you get overwhelmed by the amount of stingers they throw at you :lol:

PD: what about the situation of getting camped by the attack boats ?

It isn't necessarily the "OPness" of the parachute spawn its the fact it negates any potential for actual tactical teamplay while lessening the excitement of storming their carrier. Some of the most exciting aspects of Titan mode was getting a drop pod vehicle close enough to board or the VTOLs close enough to drop onto the carrier and set up a foothold to push inside. With the insta-paradrop there is none of that it's just a matter of time before the constant stream of unearned spawns overwhelms the enemy.

cannot sign up due to being in the last draft.
here by spamming here, that most likely will be.
GF was banned and sent to study with class at weekend too.
PC is working, just need this to be at least at start on EU server..and maybe it will work.

with regard to carrier assault why don't we just come to an agreement where we ban the instant parachute and have to make our way to the ship via boat chopper or swimming.

also how about a game of capture the flag which can be fun in small doses.

I'd like to test CA without paradroping... so you can try to defent it and get the enemy carrier opened by taking flags...
as far as i can see it on GC we will have a great time with it :thumbup:
to bad I only can attend for last 2 hours and mostly fun day ends early :(

and of course if we play something GC style TK is ON

Death Race course and information

Vehicle: dirt bike
Map: Silk Road
Weapons: light weapons and dumb fire launchers, no mines/C4.
Course: please check this video for course. The highlighted parts are mandatory check points.
