Honestly if people think the M16 is that annoying, ban it. It's my most used gun, but I don't think it's inherently better than every other weapon so I'll gladly play without it. Perhaps if you go to a level of absolutely the best players in the world it may make a difference, but even then weapons like the AEK are used, which has the disadvantage of a longer reload but the advantage of a faster kill time.
