YouTube 60FPS

Yep YouTube now does 60fps for video's!
Just need to get a few more clips and l will make a vid and post it up in 60fps glory

On my camera it says 1920x1080, 50p. Does 50p mean 50fps?

yes, you record in 50 whole-frames per second (p ="progressive", 50 Hz)

I uploaded a vid recorded with 50p to youtube last week. So if I re-upload it it should be smoother?

knowing youtube it will drop it down to 30fps as it probably only runs in 60 or 30 not in-between but give it shot and see.

I think it will do what MONGO said.
Just render the vid at 60fps it will add in/repeat frames to bring the framerate upto 60.

The warthunder one is almost uncanny valley with how realistic and clear the people look, but it was probably already sorta like that with the 30fps vid.

Seems to only work for Chrome.
I don't use chrome. So I'll wait until support is added to other browsers.
I have a reason to record in 60fps now. Now I just need a reason to upload lol

Awwwwwwww yissssssss got it to render 60fps in Windows Movie Maker (cause frak pirating sony vegas)
Tried it out with a funny clip I had saved from our last battleday/scrim thingy. 1080p 60fps

Nice one Ceki. I tried Safari and Chrome and both report 1080p@60fps.
