"NEW FEATURES

* Co-op: Co-op Mode allows you to play Single Player levels on the Internet and LAN with both AI controlled bots and human players. Several new options have been created that will allow the server creator to modify how the bots behave in game.
* Air dropped vehicles: Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.

BUG FIXES & GAME PLAY TWEAKS

* Prevented ban list from being cleared in the event of a server crash.
* Fixed issue with players not properly ranking up on servers where they continuously play.
* Fixed bug where friendly vehicles show up as valid targets.
* Friendly Vehicle lock: Lock-on weapons do not lock on to friendly vehicles. The box with an X through it will still appear, but a lock tone will not sound and then if fired, the missile will not track the friendly target."

The air-dropped vehicles thing sounds funny... people already get crushed by supply crates - imagine a tank floating down from the sky 8O

Damn glass bottle. Now someones gotta deal with it. Maybe chuck it in the ocean.

Does this finally mean the end of friendly AA kills? No more AA seeking friendlies, or are they referring to trying to purposefully shoot friendlies?

Dropping vehicles will be interesting. I wonder how that will work as a commander.

Finally, thank GOD they finally (MAYBE) got rid of the issue with abandoned vehicles lighting up as hostiles.

I wonder if all vehicles will now be airdropped or if they will still spawn...
It should be interesting to be able drop vehicles onto buildings for people to use too...

It's a bit past April 1st, wouldn't you agree?

And, anyways, it's a BF2 patch, something has to be wrong with it. It can't all be good.

Well, it won't be a tank, just a Humvee. Still, that can majorly affect the game.

I think developing co-op is a waste of time for this game. They should have spend the time to do some new free maps.
