* Seaside Night has been added as a challenging add-on track. You must rely on your navigational skills to make it through a grueling race here. Not to worry though, the DPVs have headlights to guide you along!
* International (64) tracks of Karkand and Mashtuur have been added. Even more custom maps will follow in a map pack.
* All tracks have been upgraded with more car spawns and spawnpoints, to ensure that everybody gets a place at the start line
* Server admins can easily enable/disable weapons on their server to fit with their preferred style of racing.
* A flare gun has been added to the racer kit. Use it wisely.
* Exiting a vehicle or changing seats will no longer give you a penalty - only switching vehicles mid-race will.
* False starts are now tracked, if you get in front of the start too soon you will receive a 20-second penalty.

Server admins: Stats codes are still valid, so just re-enter them in the statsettings.ini file. Please check the racesettings.ini file to see the new weapon settings. The maps available in 1.21 are:
seaside_raceway 16 32
seaside_night 16 32
mashtuur_city 16 32 64
strike_at_karkand 16 32 64
Also, update the server name to contain "1.21" if possible, so people can see that you are running the latest version. :)
maybe something for our inter campaign fun :) ?

I just played around with this mod for half an hour. Its a lot of fun. There's not too much competition in most pub servers (I got first place my first try, and I'm not much of a driver), but for non-campaign events this mod is great. It sets up the race for us automatically, gives a great track, gives us vehicles and the capability for good teamwork even in the middle of the race... It's really very good.

Let me take a look at it, this will probably be adopted for the racing events.

The mod itself is alot of fun. The pubbies seem to be half smacktards and griefers and half idiots. People blocking the track and knifing you as you try to get through (the knife reaches about 10m now)....or staying behind you just to minigun you to death and not even TRYING to pass.

lol :lol:, yeah well, having a copilot in those situation is nice ;) He repair you and can shoot at thoses idiots ;) But I would prefer if they didnt disabled all the kits, cause having C4 or mines would be cool obstacle when racing.

And the minigun on the Jeep isnt really efficient unless you are on flat ground.

1.22 is out and fixes problems with bf2 patch 1.3

Download the 1.21 from here

Download the 1.22 Update Zipfile from here.

Run the installer and point it to your Battlefield 2 Folder. Default would be C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2. After that unzip the Zipfile into the Mods Folder of your Battlefield 2 Folder. Default for an US/English System would be C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\

Battleracer 1.22 is available in a small patch in the form of a .zip file. Simply extract it to your Battlefield 2/mods directory. Installation process is the same for servers as well.

Change log:
* Fully compatible with BF2 1.3
* Headlights in night tracks shine farther
* Fixed bug not allowing servers to have weapons turned off
* Weapons are disabled when 1st place racer crosses the finish line
* Reduced spawn time from 15 seconds to 5
* Vehicle change penalty is now more strict
* Changed minimap icon for checkpoints
* Simplified spawn screen

As always, download links are at the right.

Also, I (finally) added search functionality to the stats pages. You can search for a person's name or Gamespy ID. Queries must be at least 3 characters long.

Well... i think that there is a small number even here in germany...

For the 1.22 fix: Even AFTER the installation, i still got Graphic-bucks. (no minimap etc)

Did anybody know how i can fix it? Or should i reinstall the whole game?
