VANU SOVEREIGNTY WITH ALL THE KOOL KIDS. Though I have to admit it took my a minute to figure out what you meant by biotches, though you were talking about something biolab or tech plant related... it's 4am here.

Ergh. New age? I'm leaning towards 80's rock myself. Classical marches and what not are nice, but a good guitar riff and I'm sold.

What's the whole point of it all?
So philosophical, Fields. :P

We play the same maps in BF3 over and over again too.

There is no permanent victory, but once things get sufficiently organized you will have efforts to capture the entire world map. This was accomplished a few times during my playtime in PS1, and requires organizational efforts on the scale of GC * 1000, so even though it doesn't "END" the game, it is a huge accomplishment. Right now everyone is just fecking around, but eventually fecking around in big battles gets boring, so motivated people start to organize... and then you have the largest organized battles ever in an FPS.

Well, not even from a philosophical view.
The game never ends. You join a server, shoot people, die a bunch, and nobody ever wins. I don't see the point in attacking/defending objectives if there will never be any winners or losers. The fight just continues forever with no end and no real point. At least a battlefield match ends, giving you a winning side and a losing side. Here, there just fails to be any point.

Heck, why does it even have a points system? It's like a scifi battle sandbox game, where you don't have true sandbox freedom but you also don't have structured battles. I'm sure it's an interesting game, and I like the scifi setting, but all I can do is look at it and shrug; you'll never win or lose the game, just run around doing the same things every time.

We switched to Vanu since they were undermanned.

IGN is currently giving away beta access to anyone with an account: All gone?
http://au.ign.com/prime/promo/planetside2

You can also buy the $40 founders pack for beta access. I did, so I don't need my IGN key if anyone wants it.
