Hawken is sort of like the Call of Duty to Mechwarrior Online's Battlefield, but don't let that put you off.

I've been in the Alpha for a while too, we should play sometime. Someone on reddit a while ago posted that you could use the code "AlphaDog" and get access although I haven't personally tried it.

I played two matches and went back to Mechwarrior. Too much FPS not enough feeling like a walking BAMF Mech for me. Although I guess I could see the appeal to the game for other people. Just not my cup of tea when it comes to playing a Mech game.

After only playing MWO, I feel like Hawken may be a better fit for my play style. I still waiting for an invite though. The "alphadog" code didn't work.
