I have lost any idea of what I'm looking for in a laptop. I have over 200 bookmarks on laptops that are appealing and I don't know what to choose anymore, or if I should change what I'm looking for. I also have these bookmarked:
Basically if it were to be perfect I would want a tablet like a Surface Pro 3 (it's a really nice flex-tablet with awesome touch-screen/stylus usability for notes, drawing/art, and using while portable) but is a gaming PC err laptop
Spec-wise I would want it to be able to run BF on High settings and hopefully upcoming games like The Division on High settings.
Priority based on specs:
CPU/Ghz
RAM and Battery life (easy, 8+ RAM and 5+? hours. Can work without a shipped-in SSD if I can still buy one for it later)
not an integrated GPU/VRAM
built-in webcam(?)
Obviously light-weight and good portability is preferred along with a good build for wear-and-tear.
Also I'm majoring in CS so yeah. Main idea is programming portability. And between tablets for light-weight notes and gaming specs/build I would lean more towards gaming. Budget: less than 1.5k USD.
EDIT: Some of the favorites I've been seeing is Lenovo Y-series, Yoga series, and ThinkPads, the MSI Apaches, and the ASUS ROGs.
EDIT: New Search
