==Starfisher Assassinated in Mexico==

     While trying to stabilize Europe and Mexico, Generallissimouss Strafisher was assassinated two days ago while touring troops in Mexico City. Head of Communications Fields has quickly announced that former Gladius men are responsible for the assassination of the Generalisismous, but other commanders in the SCI HQ, including the highly respected Colonel Spreez, are accusing Fields for the assassination. "I've seen the crime scene myself," Spreez is quoted as saying, "and it looks suspicious to say the very least". SCI Officers refused Fields' requests to authorize additional enlistment and mobilizations of troops to reinforce the curfews.

Several hours later, Spreez was found with several bullet wounds in his head and chest. There are reports from around the world that SCI Officers who openly denounced Fields have gone missing, suspected dead or in hiding.

==Protests Continue==

     Additional SCI troops arrived in cities worldwide yesterday, and repeated Fields's threat against people breaking the curfew. As people started gathering outside and moving towards government buildings, they were met by a wall of fixed bayonets. As the clock hit 21:00, the soldiers started peppering the crowd with live rounds. Several hundred people were wounded by the time the mob was able to disperse. Two hours later, thousands of armed men dressed in black stormed the soldiers patrolling the streets. We have received reports that some cities fell to the mob, but stress that these reports aren't reliable. Fighting continues in most parts of the world, and it's impossible to tell if SCI troops will be able to regain control. The mob looks to be somewhat organized in some places and some use both Gladius and SCI weapons and equipment. Unconfirmed reports from the last hour say the men in black calling themselves the "Black Legion" but its possible that only a small local group of the people in black goes by that name.

     Other reports confirm that former Gladius officers Tactical Virus and dan1mall have joined the masked man known as Ghoul and helped hack the SCI network again to broadcast a recorded speech. This was its content:

"The Legion of Doom has lain the groundwork and sown the seeds of decent amongst the oppressed, the poor, the abandoned. Our time is NOW! The rift continues to expand between the unfed many and the corporate warmongers -- They can not continue to ignore the cries of the 4 billion lives they have left in poverty and misery because of their greed. The Legion of Doom has been formed to take what was promised to us by the corporations when we were only left with ashes on our tongues after they raped our land of its coffee beans and left us starving. They do not realize that we will not be dehumanized anymore and will fight to the last man. Where the Corporations of Starfisher Coffee and Gladius fought for greed and power, we fight to return the world to chaos and survival of the fittest, to reset the higharchy of wealth and return it to the people, the farmers, the layman who's hard work is the basis for a better life. THIS is where true power should lay. There is oposition to our doctrin from a sickningly sweet faction of pacifists known as the "Kitten Adventure Rainbow Time". It is our experience that Love and Peace do not broker change in the world. Following their ways will allow you to be manipulated by love. Stand with us, and we shall not be swayed!"

The broadcast was quickly taken down by SCI, but in places where the resistance holds power, SCI commucations officers were unable to block the signal. In the hours after the Broadcast millions of people worldwide poured into the streets identifying themselves with Ghouls and protesting against SCI, cheering the death of Starfisher and Spreez and shouting the "Fields is next."
