==Gladius Command Attacked==<br />

&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<font size= 4>T</font size>here has been little change in the world this month. Gladius and Starfisher Coffee Initiative have been fighting over the same stretches of land, however neither army has been able to secure their conquests before retreating from a counter attack. Generalissimus Starfisher decided that it was time to attack the Gladius OMSK Headquarters, an extremely dangerous move as the headquarters was located in a highly defensible location with lots of visibility of the surrounding area. Using satellite imagery, tactical experience and advanced simulation computers, Starfisher came up with a plan to capture the headquarters.<br />

Under the cover of darkness, multiple SCI Special Operations teams beached the Gladius perimeter without being detected. Once the teams were in place, they planted ghosting devices in computing systems, and explosives around defensive weapons. The following day, SCI Infantry and Armour columns began to advance on the HQ, but the Gladius detection systems did not register their approach. When the SCI Army approached visual range, alarms sounded and GLD troops ran to their defensive positions, however as their artillery began to track their targets, the explosives were detonated allowing the SCI advance to continue.<br />

Gladius forces did their best to hold the facility, however most of the forces holding the base were newly drafted and under-equipped as all of the veteran soldiers had been deployed to Mongolia the previous week. Defending infantry fought on, although many fireteams threw down their arms as soon as significant enemy forces approached their position. All of the remaining Armour and Air assets in the headquarters were mobilised to evacuate the command staff to Mongolia, and all non-essential personnel were called back to join in the retreat. GLD Lt. Gonzo remained behind to organise defending forces, and called for all troops to lay down their weapons once the evacuation was complete. He was last seen badly bruised, being escorted into an SCI command tent. His current status is unknown.<br />

==Gladius Plans Unveiled==<br />

&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<font size= 4>A</font size>fter the capture of the OMSK headquarters, Starfisher IT Barristas uncovered very concerning information. The IT Barristas learned that the entire Gladius command staff had been called in to a meeting to discuss how to disrupt SCIs domination. Plans were unveiled showing the recent completion of an airbase 10 kilometers from the OMSK headquarters, and another airbase being constructed in the Mexico region. Gladius was preparing drop a significant amount of forces into Australia and Southern Africa, where SCI forces are busy fighting local insurgents or do not have the equipment and personnel to counter a full attack. The capture of the OMSK headquarters has stopped these plans, allowing SCI forces to continue in their attempts to establish peace in those regions. The Barristas were also able to discover that the Gladius evacuation transports were all destined to Mongolia to join their veteran forces.<br />

==The Final Push==<br />

&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<font size= 4>S</font size>CI agents within the Mongolian sector confirmed that all of the Gladius command staff were in the area. SCI forces mobilised and began another siege of the of the region. GLD forces were extremely mobile, and despite many attempts at air-strikes and artillery barrages, few were successful. STAR forces had to advance over the ground, but tank traps and minefields had been deployed. SCI Armour was delayed until combat engineers cleared the way, but their infantry proceeded forward. Many shots were traded between the two armies, but due to the mobility of the defenders, few were killed on either side. <br />

After 4 hours of combat, Gladius High Command ordered a stop to all fighting and called for GLD forces to offer surrender to the nearest SCI member. SCI strike teams advanced to the command facility without any resistance. The building was completely deserted except for Gladius General Arcturus who was in the operations room continuing to call for all Gladius forces to lay down their arms. General Arcturus was arrested and transported to an unknown SCI location. None of his command staff were identified among those who surrendered or were killed.<br />
