A lot easier and loads of fun. I had two squadrons of cobras lined up on one map and the screens are awesome. They have three servers online right now and it is wild watching a full team of soldiers building stuff and equiping their coming battle with exactly what they plan on needing.tiberian_rebel wrote:Looks easier to use than the mod editor.
Awesome and I think I will load it into the downloads area for the modders and legacy engineers from the day. I didnt want to stop and if nothing else we could mod our GC maps with it and save a lot of time when it comes to equipment, ragdoll objects, weapons, walls, bridges, ect.
Even has a Soccer map and a soccer ball is included/ The interface lets you adjust gravity and fly around in a tank or boat and I did that after equipping an entire wing of uav's to escort me around.
Again good screenies of that.
I flew around in a Cobra gunship with the gravity adjusted just a notch up and it was perfect for training someone. Everything works but physics allow you a bit more lift like that and it handles like a dream in comparision to full grav.
You can click and lay steel plate out over a click and walk across the sky or a river, ect. clicking and releasing plates as you go.
Im just getting started of course but the learning curve is very small and the fun is off the hook.

I was playing on a server today, and something weird happened. Everyone was making ramps. I had a giant ramp that I was working on, but after awhile I would lay down a piece of bridge, and the previous piece I laid appeared above the new piece, causing me to fall several hundred feet to my death. It was happening to a lot of people, so it ws just a personal computer problem. Just a warning, as it will also pull out pieces of other peoples bridges/ramps.

this reminds me of garry's mod for half life 2...cept much better and cooler cause of having like 10 tanks that are close together attacking 5 jihad jeeps with 25 pieces of C4 each... ...which were backed up by more jihad jeeps! the waves kept coming!
also...lol@AT set...supersonic repeating AT pwns everything in like 1 shot and it is just sweet overall...crashed the game with it firing it too much lol

woke up this morning, put on my slippers, walked in the kitchen and died
Garry's mod for Half Life 2 is better than this. You can properly edit all of the properties of just about everything and you can make really complex situations.
This is still fun though and you do get vehicles

You will notice that vehicles like jeeps and tanks are not on the options page while ingame on some if not most of the maps. They are spawned with codes listed at the following page. It also shows cautions where applicible where certain vehicles could cause crashing on certain maps.

This was my first foray on the sandbox mod. I was flying that tank upside down and had four recon drones as escort. It was great fun, although you have to use the "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" physics law when you are in a very heavy tracked vehicle that gets its locomotion forward by moving its tracks back and vice versa.
That dont work in the sky...........so you find something else to put behind you to move forward.........AMMO! Main mount or 50 cal will push you forward if shot behind you.
Yeah, lots of activity just to move but fun as games get just the same.
You would never know how big those aerial recon birds really are until seen at eye level or sitting on the ground in front of you. They have approx 12 ft wingspans and are very detailed, considering they were never meant to be looked at close up.........Weird of EA to put that much model work into something never seen by anyone.
